'The Foil' in the White House Press Room

When White House press secretaries find themselves in a tight spot during press briefings, one way out is to call on India Globe reporter Raghubir Goyal.

His predilection for asking questions about affairs that involve India -- often derailing talk of delicate or controversial domestic issues -- has earned Goyal the nickname "the foil."

Press Secretary Scott McClellan recently turned to Goyal to stem a flood of questions over White House Deputy Chief of Staff Karl Rove's role in the leaking of CIA operative Valerie Plame's name.

Michele Norris talks with Dana Milbank of The Washington Post.
