Then, hear one of the true gems of the repertoire: Tchaikovsky’s passionate Sixth Symphony. A musical portrait of the human condition, the Sixth is a tug-of-war between joy and sorrow, life and death, control and fate, pain and pleasure. Tchaikovsky called this symphony, “the best thing I have composed.” Come hear for yourself.
