The Idaho Botanical Garden presents an art opening for a major new site‐specific Land Art Exhibit at the Garden on Saturday, March 14, from 2‐4 p.m. This opening is a free event! This is Idaho Botanical Garden’s second annual Land Art Exhibit and will feature works using natural materials such as clay, leaves, seeds, stones, wood, and wool. These pieces challenge artists to think about creating art that does not permanently occupy a space. Due to the nature of these natural art pieces, the display will decay and decompose over time. After the opening, the exhibit will be on display at the Idaho Botanical Garden March 14 through April 30, during regular Garden hours. There is no additional charge for the exhibit beyond the normal Garden admission. The public is encouraged to visit the Garden and experience each of the unique creations. “The Garden serves as an outdoor art gallery, and we exhibit many sculptures on the Garden grounds. We are thrilled to bring these works to the Garden!” said Erin Anderson, Executive Director.
