Elmore Planning and Zoning Commission Considers Mayfield Springs

BOISE, ID. – People can weigh in Wednesday on plans to build Mayfield Springs.  This is a commercial and residential project in Elmore County off Interstate-84.  It’s not the Mayfield Townsite with fifteen thousand planned homes.  This Mayfield is about one third as big.  Alan Christy directs Elmore County’s Growth and Development Office.  He says, “A hearing is only scheduled to last three hours. There’s a chance that not every individual or group will have enough time to testify tonight so some of the testimony and rebuttal could have to be continued.”  If that’s the case, Elmore County’s Planning and Zoning Commission will hold another hearing in November.  County Commissioners will review the project if Planning and Zoning approves it.
