Sixth Incident In Treasure Valley Crime Spree Has Authorities Offering Reward

Police are searching for a suspect in a string of armed robberies across the Treasure Valley. Following another crime yesterday, authorities have provided a description of the suspect and are asking for the public’s help in apprehending him.

Monday’s robbery was the sixth in a string of hold ups across the region. Around 3:20 in the afternoon, the suspect held up a hotel in the vicinity of the Boise Airport. Authorities say the crime was committed at gun point but didn’t reveal whether or not the thief successfully made off with cash or valuables.

Boise Police tell the Statesman the suspect is a black male with a thin build who wears dark clothing when committing the robberies. He’s thought to be in his late teens or early 20s.

Monday’s armed robbery came under a week from the previous incident in the spree which targeted a business near Five Mile Road and Fairview in Boise. Last month, the suspect hit a Game Stop in Nampa, a coffee shop, and, on February 20, held up two businesses within 10 minutes.

Crime Stoppers is offering a reward of $1,000 for information leading to an arrest.
