Boise One Of Many U.S.Cities With Protests/Counter-Protests Over Air Strike

George Prentice
The ANSWER coalition organized the Jan. 4 protest at Boise City Hall.

Approximately 80 protesters came to Boise City Hall January 4 to demonstrate the U.S. drone strike that killed an Iranian general. Organizers from the ANSWER (aka Act Now to Stop War and End Racism) coalition insisted that they would protest any such action, but quickly added that the recent provocation was a "diversion" by President Trump to shift focus away from his pending impeachment trial.

"This is a criminal act, an illegal act of agression."

Meanwhile, a small group of counter-protesters demonstrated their support for Trump while calling the ANSWER coalition "traitors." The counter-protesters said they were an Idaho chapter of MAGA girl, a pro-Trump coalition.
