Julie Adams DeFord

Julie Adams DeFord is an attorney and owner of DeFord Law, P.C., in Nampa, Idaho, where she practices in the areas of estate planning, probate, guardianship/conservatorship, real estate and business transactions. Julie is a member of the Idaho State Bar.  She earned her Bachelor of Arts from Brigham Young University and her Juris Doctor, cum laude, from the J. Reuben Clark Law School at Brigham Young University in 1996.  Julie was a member of the National Moot Court Team and earned the award of Order of the Barristers.

Julie is a past President of the Idaho Third District Bar Association and received the Professionalism Award for the Third District Bar Association in 2016.

Julie is an Idaho native and grew up in a small, southern Idaho farming community.  She discovered Boise Public Radio twenty years ago while turning the dial during her morning commute.  Now it is her “go to” radio station.  Julie enjoys listening to All Things Considered, News Updates and most other programs offered at Boise Public Radio. 

Julie joined the community advisory board in June 2018.
