On February 11, 2015, KBSX hosted four panelists and members of the public for a discussion on the state of police and community relationships in Idaho.

Police-involved controversies in Ferguson, Mo. and New York City last year served as the impetus for the discussion.

Panelists included Boise Police Chief Bill Bones, Ada County Sheriff’s Office Captain Steve Bartlett, Boise State Criminal Justice Professor Andy Giacomazzi, and Leo Morales, communications and advocacy director of the ACLU of Idaho. Boise State Public Radio News Director Scott Graf facilitated the discussion.
