We Want To Hear From First-Time Voters!

Oct 14, 2020

Are you exercising your right to vote for the first time in 2020? We want to hear your story. Maybe you just turned 18, or perhaps you've recently become a U.S. citizen. Even if you've been eligible to vote for years and simply haven't, we want to know what's pulling you to the polls this election.

Does this describe you or someone you know? Boise State Public Radio News and Idaho Matters are looking for voters who will cast their ballots for the first time in 2020. This could be one of the most consequential and unusual elections in American history and we want to highlight your voice.

Use the "Talk To Us" feature on our new app to record your message!

The best way to share your first-time voter story is by downloading our new app. From the menu, scroll to the "Talk To Us" feature where you can record and submit a radio-quality message right from your smartphone or tablet. Tell us your name, where you live and how old you are.

You can also leave us a voicemail at 208-426-3621.

We may use your message in our 2020 Election coverage!
