  • Expo Idaho explores Ada County growth.
  • Author of "MAID" Stephanie Land on minimum wage motherhood.

-Ada County has grown close to 25% over the last 10 years, but how does that growth effect the established population? Ada County Commissioner Diana Lachiondo set up an event, the Ada County Coordinated Growth Conversation, to answer these questions and allow for the community to provide their input.

-Single motherhood is a massive burden, and when combined with minimum wage work, it becomes nearly impossible to support the family. Stephanie Land experienced this firsthand, writing the book "MAID" to describe the struggles of her situation. She joins Idaho Matters ahead of her event at Boise State University.
