Supreme Court to Decide if Cross-Burning Is Protected Speech

The U.S. Supreme Court will decide whether laws that ban cross-burning violate the First Amendment guarantee of free expression under the Constitution. The justices will hear a challenge to a Virginia law by three men who were convicted after attending a rally of the Ku Klux Klan. NPR's Nina Totenberg reports.
