Tax Benefits

Idaho Education Tax Credit

Contributions to educational entities, like Boise State Public Radio, may qualify for the Idaho Education Tax Credit. You can claim this credit on your Idaho tax form whether or not you itemize deductions. The credit is available to all Idaho taxpayers.

  • Idaho individuals may take up to 50% of a gift of $1,000 (a tax credit of $500)
  • Idaho married couples may take up to 50% of a gift of $2,000 (a tax credit of $1,000)
  • Idaho corporations may take up to 50% of a gift of $10,000 (a tax credit of $5,000)
  • If you are able to itemize deductions, you will gain additional federal and state tax reductions from donations to Boise State Public Radio.
