About Boise State Public Radio

Serving Idaho for more than 45 years.

Boise State Public Radio is a listener-supported nonprofit committed to connecting Idaho by providing free and accessible local news, NPR Network programming, classical music and jazz entertainment.

With 23 broadcast locations across the state, we are Idaho's leading NPR-member station, with local DJs and an award-winning local news department.

We are home to Idaho Matters, our local weekday public affairs program, and the Mountain West News Bureau, a regional collaboration of journalists across the West.

Boise State Public Radio is Idaho's main source for classical music and jazz music on the radio.

You can sample us across a suite of digital platforms and stream us on the Boise State Public Radio app. You can also call us up on your smart speaker.
