Full-Time Positions

Morning Edition Host/Reporter

Boise State Public Radio seeks a host and reporter to serve as our local host of NPR’s “Morning Edition” and creator of the BSPR weekday podcast “The Connector.”

This role:

  • Assists in daily reporting, news planning and editing.
  • Stays atop daily local and national news through multiple sources.
  • Selects and rewrites stories for air.
  • Edits scripts for accuracy, timeliness and proper usage.
  • Arranges newscasts, billboards and other on-air content including reporting and producing two-ways for show.
  • Presents content live on-air in an authoritative and conversational manner that connects with local listeners.
