We're seeking a student operator/producer to work with our programming department. This position will be trained to help with the following tasks:
- Download, edit and convert audio files using digital audio workstation, Adobe Audition.
- Work with the station's automation system and associated broadcast equipment.
- Produce promotional spots and day-part for timely promotion of on-air content.
- Monitor the on-air and program signals as well as online web streams.
- Help with fundraising as skills and schedule allow.
- Monitor daily logs.
- Audio production/editing.
This position requires attention to details and computer proficiency is necessary. The preferred candidate will have experience/interest in audio recording, digital audio editing and/or familiarity with public radio. This position can be a work-study approved position or not.
