BY & BYE: an unsustainable art show

BY & BYE: an unsustainable art show

“BY & BYE: an unsustainable art show” is a multimedia, evening-length dance theater performance in collaboration with multiple artists in Boise, all under the direction of choreographer Daniel Ojeda. Serving as a self-aware retrospective of a fictionalized version of Daniel’s career, a washed-up news anchor named Brad Tingen (played by local artist Joe Haege) will spend the evening interviewing Daniel on his artistic career thus far. Within this retrospective, the audience will see three wildly different and collaborative dance works from Daniel’s career as a choreographer, all of which feature the talents of other local Boise artists. As the evening progresses, the interview between Brad and Daniel will steadily go off the rails and bring to light a singular question: what is the most sustainable way to make art?

Collaborators include: Frankie Tillo, Jake Saunders, Adam Wright, Amanda Grant, local band "Thick Business", and many more!
