Echoes of Service

Echoes of Service

A new art exhibit that showcases the creativity of U.S. military veterans is coming to Art Source Gallery.

According to a news release, “Echoes of Service” features the work of military artists from the Idaho VA Veterans’ Creative Arts Collective. The release said creating the art can be a tool for veterans to experience expression, healing, and connection.

“Exhibitions like ‘Echoes of Service’ provide opportunities for Veterans to experience validation and find a new sense of purpose through their identity within the greater arts community,” Patricia Mazul said. Mazul is an art therapist at the Boise VA Medical Center and creator of the Collective.

“As exhibiting artists, Veterans self-advocate and educate the public about their experiences while taking ownership of their own perspective. I have been an Art Therapist for almost 30 years, and I am still continuously in awe of the healing impact of the arts,” Mazul said.

The exhibit runs from Feb. 2 through Feb. 28, 2026. There is no entry fee.
