Roll Red Roll Virtual Screening presented by The Advocates ETCs

The Advocates’ Teen Interns, the ETC’s, in collaboration with The Community Library, are screening the film, Roll Red Roll on April 21st, at 6:30pm, via The Community Library’s Livestream. Roll Red Roll tells the story of a sexual assault that took place in 2012 in Steubenville, Ohio, where three football players raped a young high school student. This documentary explores culture change within the community and exposes the denial, peer pressure, Steubenville football culture, and social media influence that play key parts in the tragedy. By focusing on the reality of rape culture, the film aims to reduce the stigma surrounding it. This April, for Sexual Assault Awareness Month, we hope to empower, educate, and better our community's understanding of consent, sexual assault, and rape culture. Join us and watch this important exposé about a topic that impacts all of us. Watching this film will bring us one step closer to create a culture of consent that supports survivors of sexual assault and keeps perpetrators accountable.
