Boise State Public Radio

The Idaho Legislature has been in session for four weeks and bills are coming fast and furious from lawmakers.

The Joint Finance Appropriations Committee – known as JFAC – is holding hearings on the state budget.

And Boise State Political Science Professor Gary Moncrief tells Samantha Wright bills on cell phones and liquor laws made headlines.

Gary and Samantha have a podcast called “Legislative Breakdown.” We pick apart the Idaho Legislature each week to find out how it affects YOU -- and this week we…go behind the scenes with the evaluators – think private detectives – of the legislature.

Find "Legislative Breakdown" in the NPR One app.
