Gun Control Opponents Challenge D.C. Handgun Ban

Opponents of the strict ban on ownership and possession of handguns in Washington, D.C., are mounting a legal battle to overturn the law. NPR's Brian Naylor reports the legal fight will focus on the testimony of "sympathetic plaintiffs" -- ordinary citizens, who will argue that the 2nd Amendment to the Constitution guarantees their right to keep and bear arms.
