Did you know that the Ruth Melichar Bird Center cares for nearly 200 baby birds at any given time during the spring (and around 3,000 birds throughout each year)? Our busiest season is right around the corner and we're celebrating with a Baby Bird Shower...and you're invited! Join us to celebrate and prepare for the birds at this free and fun event where you will:

🪺 Tour the facility and learn about how we help birds of all kinds;
🪺 Meet birds of prey with the Idaho Falconers’ Association;
🪺 Make and take your own bird feeder;
🪺 Enjoy children’s games and giveaways;
🪺 Learn what to do if you find an injured bird;
🪺 Learn about volunteer opportunities at the center;
🪺 Take part in special basket raffles that directly benefits the bird center;
🪺 And more!
