Ballet Idaho’s Anthology
February 13–21, 2026
Boise State University Special Events Center (SPEC)
Anthology is a collection of disparate works that celebrate the true strength of this company: the diverse talents of its incredible artists. In this season’s program, we bring back two favorites from last season, and introduce two new voices to the growing Ballet Idaho repertoire. Set in the intimate space of the Boise State University SPEC theater, Anthology showcases not only the exquisite up-close talent of Ballet Idaho’s dancers, but a range of choreography and style.
About the Works:
Pulcinella Variations – A joyful showcase of balletic virtuosity, created for New York City Ballet to crucial acclaim and set to Stravinsky’s complex, playful score.
Twice (Once) – A quieter work that invites a more introspective approach, shaped by the musical sophistication of Anna Clyne’s Within Her Arms.
Rooster – Our first experience with the work of Barak Marshall, a theatrical exploration rooted in storytelling and character, with images and relationships that are provocative, absurd, and deeply human.
A new work by Cherice Barton – Inspired by the silver screen era of Old Hollywood, evoking the enchantment of classic cinema while confronting the shadows that linger beneath the glamour, and the fragile balance between commercial success and artistic integrity.
