More Than Just a Movie
This year’s expanded lineup is made possible through a generous grant from Albertine Cinémathèque, a program of the Albertine Foundation and Villa Albertine. The 2026 selection explores a global tapestry of social perspectives, highlighting themes of love, loss, identity, and personal growth. To deepen the experience, each screening will be:
* Introduced by Boise State faculty from various academic disciplines.
* Followed by a moderated audience discussion to foster community conversation.
* Presented in the original language with English subtitles.
By bridging local audiences with global stories, the festival serves as a premier cultural gathering for Boise’s film lovers and Francophiles alike. Through this curated selection, viewers can explore how time and geography shape the human experience while celebrating the beauty of Francophone storytelling.
