Can We Still Talk to Each Other? Media, Discourse, and Democracy

Can We Still Talk to Each Other? Media, Discourse, and Democracy

In an age of misinformation, polarization, and shrinking trust in news and institutions, how can we rebuild meaningful public conversation? This event brings together students, journalists, and media scholars to explore the role of media literacy, dialogue, and civic engagement in strengthening democracy. Join us for an open discussion about how we consume, share, and make sense of information—and what it will take to bridge divides and reclaim a shared reality.
