The #1 Comedy Open Mic in Downtown Boise just got an upgrade!
Greg Sisco is opening up The List every Thursday night at the Mad Swede Brew Hall, the best room in town for stand up comedy. With quick sets and up to 25 comics every time, this show is snappy, sassy, and fun! Greg Sisco is one of Boise's favorite standup comedians, having earned the coveted title of Comic of the Year in Blue City Comedy's 2023 competition.
BYO jokes. We'll bring the beer. Doors open at 7:00pm, Signups are at 7:30pm IN PERSON ONLY. Stand up comedy starts at 8:00pm.

Did you know turkeys can blush? Or that they can fly at speeds of 55 miles per hour? Join the Idaho National Turkey Federation president to explore the fascinating life of these birds. In addition to understanding more about our feathered friends, you'll learn how to contribute to Idaho turkey science. We'll end the evening fluffing our creative feathers by making avian art alongside our artist instructor.

Ernest Scheyder is a senior correspondent for Reuters covering the energy transition and critical minerals, as well as the author of The War Below: Lithium, Copper, and the Global Battle to Power Our Lives, which was named one of the best Summer Books of 2024 by the Financial Times and one of the Best Books of 2024 So Far by Amazon. Scheyder previously covered the US shale oil revolution, politics, and the environment, and held roles at the Associated Press and the Bangor Daily News. A native of Maine, Scheyder is a graduate of the University of Maine and Columbia Journalism School.
Bring your instruments and your ears to the Mad Swede Brew Hall! Hear local musicians play in a relaxed environment and join in with some tunes of your own. Mad Swede runs the most welcoming open mic in Boise, and it’s all ages. Hosted by the unofficial Mayor of Boise: Jenny Anne Smith.
We provide the PA system, keyboard, and upright grand piano. Guitarists are kind and will often lend their instruments but it's always a good idea to bring your own.
