Learn the basics of acrylic painting from an expert! Ages 18+

3-week course - Mondays - September 26 - October 10 - 6:30-8:30pm

Want to learn how to paint but don’t know where to start? This introduction to acrylic painting is great for absolute beginner artists as well those who have been painting for a bit but would like to improve their skills. Each week the instructor will teach specific techniques like creating smooth gradients verses incorporating textures into your painting, then students will have class time to practice those techniques while creating a painting. All supplies are included, paints, canvas, and brushes. Come and release your inner painter. Professional artist, Jessica Henry, will be your guide. Ages 18 and up are welcome.

Optional items to bring:
- Any special paintbrushes you might like to use (we will have plenty to borrow, as well)
- Layered clothing, as the temperatures may be difficult to manage in the building
- Bottled water/beverage

This course may be rescheduled if a minimum of 3 participants are not enrolled. We will contact you via email in this case.
