Dig into Geodes,
Join us at the Idaho Museum of Mining and Geology, next to the Old Pen, for a fun afternoon of geode-cracking, a short and easy geo-hike on the nearby hillside and a museum visitation. Geode-cracking takes place from 12pm-3pm outside under shade canopies on the grass of the historic Women’s Ward.
Non-members $5 Admission fee for adults and $4 for kids. IMMG Members-free admission. One free geode for all children.
