After over a year of no reception events, Gallery 55 will host a reception on First Saturday, June 5, 4-7pm, to honor our guest artist, jeweler Martha Heukensfeld. Martha is exhibiting her elegant jewelry, inspired by the many unique shapes found in nature. In June, we are also featuring our newest member of the gallery, ceramicist Julie Meikle. Julie’s work, which will be installed June 9, is functional, organic, simple and beautiful. During the month of June, view Martha’s and Julie’s work and the work of over twenty-five regional artists in the gallery. The gallery is open 11-5 daily.
