The Friends of the Garden City Library will hold its Spring Book Sale, March 5-8, in the City Hall Chamber at 6015 N. Glenwood Street. All genres of books from fiction, to mystery, biographies, children’s and more, including CDs, DVDs, and puzzles will be on sale. Sale schedule: March 5, 2pm-7pm, March 6 & 7, 10am-5pm, and March 8, 10am-2pm.

“The Garden City Public Library is reliant on the Friends book sales in order to have an adequate materials budget,” said Lindsey Pettyjohn, Library Director. “We thank not only the Friends volunteers who put on the sale, but also those who show up to purchase inexpensive books. It really is a win/win. Visitors fill their home library, and their money buys new books for the community.”
