Join us for a unique afternoon tea showcasing the Idaho State Museum’s newest exhibit, A Life Lived for Others: Laura Moore Cunningham, on Saturday, March 1st!

Enjoy a tea service featuring a variety of local teas selected by Toni Hodge, founder, and designer of Divine Lotus Teas. Drinks will be complemented by a tier of sweets and savories. To open the tea, State Historian, HannaLore Hein, and Curator of Collections and Exhibitions, Nicole Inghilterra, will share short presentations discussing the ways Idaho women have shaped their communities through volunteerism and philanthropy.

Step back into a historic experience that Laura Moore Cunningham may have created herself. Pick out your own unique vintage tea cup, wear your best tea attire, and listen to music played on the historic Weber Grand Piano while celebrating women’s history and camaraderie. Before and after the service you’ll have the chance to explore the beautiful exhibit showcasing a life lived for others through gorgeous textiles, artifacts and stories that range from turn of the century through the 1960’s.

Doors open at 1:15pm for Museum access, and tea service begins at 2:00pm. Tickets are $57/person or $47/ISHS members. Museum admission is included in ticket price.
