LED + Friends

LED + Friends
August 4-6 @ 8:00 PM
TRICA, 1406 W Eastman St., Boise, ID 83702

Join local arts sensation, LED, this August for imaginative new dance works and live music by LED artists and talented friends from across the Northwest. Described by Dance Magazine as “virtuosic eye candy that invites the audience into another world,” LED is a must-see for all audiences.

Set in the North End's historic and newly renovated TRICA building, LED + Friends features a world premiere by LED Directors, Lauren Edson and Andrew Stensaas, called "Over the Moon," which draws inspiration from the classic children's book "Goodnight Moon" by Margaret Wise Brown. Using virtuosic movement and theatricality, Over the Moon makes the “familiar” contend with “fantasy" in hopes of revealing the child-like nature in each of us.

This piece will be accompanied by phenomenal local musicians and presented alongside a creation by friends from Open Space Dance (Portland, OR), choreographed and directed by Franco Nieto.

This hot summer show is not to be missed!

*One FREE drink (beer, wine, or sparkling water) is included with each ticket, thanks to friends at Par Terre Winery and Woodland Empire!
