You know the saying: if it walks like a Beatle, if it talks like a Beatle...it must be The Fab Four, the world's foremost Beatles tribute band. The California-based quartet have been reviving Beatlemania with their spot-on impersonations for over 12 years, and practice has made perfect — the band's tours consistently satisfy the Beatle-shaped hole in fans' souls, drawing rave reviews for their extensively researched, down-to-the-mannerisms enactments of late great band's legendary live concerts. The band has taken their show around the world, keeping the memory of John, Paul, George, and Ringo alive and rocking.

Our guest for November is Geoff McAndrews, a multimedia artist who paints in acrylic on skateboards, snowboards, canvas and more. His art is strongly influenced by his work with graphic artist Doug Smith of Venice, California, whose clients include many famous skateboarders and skateboard companies. The work Geoff is displaying for us in November is called “Surf, Skate, Snow and Wildlife,” and it includes a special collection of “Art for Kids Rooms” and two prototype snowboards. So, bring the kids! In addition, we are featuring local photographer Connie McClaran, who is known for her beautiful digital images of our local landscapes. Her work is an expression of the deep connection she feels with the natural world. You won’t want to miss her new work of the Tetons, Jughandle and Payette Lake!
Join us for a reception on First Saturday, November 2, 4-6:30 p.m., with live music by Mountain Fever (Jon and Bonnie Glick). Geoff will be demo painting at the reception.
View Geoff’s and Connie’s work and the work of over twenty regional artists at Gallery 55 during the month of November. The gallery is open 11-5 daily, closed Thanksgiving.
