Our guest for the month is children's book author and illustrator Nancy Binger from Sandpoint, Idaho. Her award-winning “Most Wanted” illustrated book series focuses on pet behavior and care. In addition to her books, “The Sock Thief”, “The Ball Bandit”, and “The Ribbon Robber”, Nancy has just introduced “Most Wanted! Hero Hounds”, a coloring and activity book about search and rescue avalanche dogs. Her books will be for sale in the gallery along with framed mixed media illustrated prints. In October, we also welcome a new member to the gallery, photographer Samuel Jones. His truly amazing work is inspired by the beauty of Idaho's natural world and ranges from wildlife to landscapes to the deep skies of astrophotography. Most notably, he uses a special imaging telescope to capture astounding wide field images of the Milky Way.

Please join us for a reception for Nancy Binger and Samuel Jones on Saturday, October 4, 4-6:30 p.m., with live music by Mike Dixon and Chad Lord. Nancy Binger will be signing her books at the reception. Tracy Holmes, our upstairs gallery neighbor will also be open for a reception at the same time, so come by and enjoy both.

Girls Just Wanna Have Fundamental Human Rights

Join us for a dance party in support of equal human rights and reproductive freedom in Idaho. This event is open to all who believe in equity, bodily autonomy, and the power of collective joy. Plus, all registered voters can add their name to the landmark Reproductive Freedom & Privacy Act, the citizens ballot initiative to restore rights in Idaho!

At the South Meridian Market, we celebrate community by connecting residents with local small businesses, farms, and entrepreneurs. In the heart of Pinnacle, residents will be able to discover products that have been crafted, developed, or raised by people in the community while also enjoying a vibrant atmosphere with live music and entertainment. We aim to be more than just another market; we are creating Great Places where connections are made.

Join Meriwether Cider, a local food truck, and Phoenix Fire Games for a fun and delicious Sunday morning! The food truck will be serving awesome brunch foods, Phoenix Fire will bring a bunch of awesome games to play for free, and of course Meriwether will be pouring the good stuff!!

Come join us for an evening of cool Celtic music at the Treasure Valley's hottest new corn maze! On Oct 11th, 5:00-7:00pm, Beyond the Burren is bringing Irish and Scottish tunes and songs to put a dance in your step and delight your ears (see what we did there?)

Bring a comfy camp chair to sit for the music, or arrive early to get lost in the Idaho-themed corn maze, swim in the corn kernel pit, ride the rides, slide the slides, sling apples, and take photos in the pumpkin photo booth. There's fun to be had for the whole family! Food trucks will be available on-site for your noshing pleasure.
