Gallery 55's guest for the month of April is Washington painter Laurel Nickels. Her paintings are of rural scenes embellished with intricate patterns. In her paintings, the viewer sees a blue sky or golden grass carved in swirls in the most unexpected way and a way with light that increases the emotion of the piece. Many of the subjects she has chosen to paint are scenes from her adventures in McCall. Also, please note that from March 20 to April 20, photographer Connie McClaran's work is 20% off for her Birthday Month Sale. Connie is known for her beautiful photos of Western landscapes.
