Gallery 55 has two guest artists in August. First, photographer and digital collage artist Emma Hood will exhibit her digital photography. Emma draws inspiration from the environmental themes of landscape photographer Robert Adams and the architect Frank Lloyd Wright, but her art captures the mystery of our environment in a way that is all her own. Our other guest is wood sculptor Gary Peer, who is known for the linearity and complementary texture of his wood sculptures. His work reflects on entropic systems, physical and social, which naturally deteriorate and decay, ephemeral creations.
