We are featuring two of our gallery members in February, Randy Resimius and Nettie Kaye Williams. Randy Resimius is a self-taught painter who draws his inspiration from the majesty of the natural world. His stylistic influences include John Seerey-Lester, who documented Teddy Roosevelt’s hunting trips, and the realism of Canadian naturalist and artist Robert Bateman. Randy’s paintings capture the mood and personality of animals and landscapes found in Idaho. Nettie Kaye Williams’s paintings can be best described as intensely colorful. Her work includes a variety of subjects, including formal portraits, large florals, still lifes, animals and landscapes. Her favorite painting medium is oil, sometimes with amazing mixed media. Nettie Kaye teaches art and has her own YouTube channel at www.youtube.com/NettieKStudio.
