Squeeze Con

Squeeze Con

Squeeze Con is a one-day, annual festival devoted to all things ACCORDION! 2024 will mark our third year reaching a culturally diverse audience all with the love for this distinct instrument.

This year, the event will be held at the Basque Center and will include performances by a dozen bands across two stages, all featuring the accordion. Genres span traditional folk, classical, polka, Americana, punk, Tejano, rock, country etc. performed in languages such as Basque, Irish, Mexican, Italian, German, Yiddish, as well as American English, all making for a fun, uniquely eclectic, sonic extravaganza for the eyes and ears!

The event will also include educational workshops highlighting this wonderful and diverse instrument, including its rich history and cross-cultural connections, on-the-spot lessons, where to find local instructors and fellow enthusiasts, accordion repair, a Buy-Sell-Trade fair and more!

This is a FREE event open to all ages. There will be a full bar with ID and food options available.
