The University of Idaho Energy Institute is hosting its first-ever Energy Symposium Match 4-5, bringing together professionals to explore the methods, goals, and opportunities shaping today’s energy project permitting landscape.

Open to all industry professionals, city leaders, faculty, staff, students and engaged community members whose work intersects with energy or the environment.

We will examine hydroelectric relicensing, renewable project permitting, and the nuclear project space, including the fuel supply chain and plant permitting programs. A panel will take lessons from the international energy project space and we'll hear up-to-the-minute reports from current permitting reform efforts at the federal, state, and local levels.
