Youth Gardening Workshop
Monday, March 16th, 3:00-4:30pm, Ages 6-17
Do you know a kid with a curiosity about the food we eat & a desire to dig in the dirt? Then this is the program for them! We are partnering with the U of I Master Gardener‘s program, so bring your young green thumbs to learn about sustainable food growth and basic gardening tips from the experts. Kids will get the chance to choose their favorite fruits or veggies & leave with a mini greenhouse kit. All will enjoy the satisfaction of growing their own food from start to finish. Limited materials. Registration required.
