Boise State and Idaho State will hold spring commencement ceremonies Saturday.
Boise State says 2334 students are eligible for degrees and certificates following the spring semester. All told, about 4,000 students will graduate from Boise State this academic year.
Boise State's commencement will start at 10:00 a.m. at Taco Bell Arena. New York Times columnist and author Timothy Egan will be awarded an honorary doctorate. About 1600 students are expected to participate in the ceremony, which university officials say will fill the arena. More information can be found here.
Idaho State says it will award degrees and certificates to around 2400 students during Saturday's 10:00 a.m. ceremony at Holt Arena in Pocatello.
ISU - Meridian will hold its graduation ceremony Monday at 6:00 p.m. at the Boise Centre. The University of Idaho hosts spring commencement on May 14.
