Court records show former Idaho Republican Party Chair Jonathan Parker’s latest arrest stems from allegedly trespassing near his estranged wife’s apartment complex two months ago.
Parker was arrested Friday in the middle of an Ada County courtroom on a misdemeanor trespassing warrant. He’s since posted bond.
It wasn’t immediately clear what the charge was in connection with. But new court records say Parker was peeking into a door, window or some other opening near his estranged wife’s apartment complex around April 10.
Kelly Parker filed for divorce from him in March. Those court records are sealed, but prosecutors say she had a restraining order filed against him.
Jonathan Parker also faces a felony first-degree stalking charge after Boise Police arrested him in May. They say he was wearing a wig, hiding in the bushes and masturbating, near the same apartment complex.
Parker’s lawyer says he was going to a costume party at the complex and was peering through windows to scare a different woman.
He faces up to five years in prison and a fine of $10,000 if convicted on the stalking charge.
