Mountain Stage
Parker Millsap.

Oklahoma-born singer-songwriter Parker Millsap grew up listening to music in the Pentecostal church, an experience that provided ample inspiration for his music career. Millsap endeared himself to the sold-out Mountain Stage audience with his mix of humor, sincerity and intensity in near-record time, earning him a standing ovation after his fourth song, "Heaven Sent." Millsap describes "Heaven Sent" as "a love letter from a son who's gay, to his father who's a pastor at a small Baptist church in rural anywhere, America."

Parker Millsap is backed by Daniel Foulks on fiddle and Michael Rose on upright bass.
