2018 Tiny Desk Contest Is Here, Idaho!

Ah, it's that time of year again: NPR Music is asking unknown bands and musicians across the country to film themselves performing one song at a desk of their choice.

The Contest will be sponsored for the fourth year by Lagunitas Brewing Company, and the winner will play NPR's famous Tiny Desk in Washington, D.C., before embarking on a U.S. tour that includes appearances at a taping of NPR's Ask Me Another and events hosting by NPR Music and Lagunitas, in partnership with Member stations, throughout the country.

The judging panel this year will include tastemakers from Member stations -- Talia Schlanger from WXPN, Russ Borris from WFUV and Toki Wright from The Current -- alongside NPR Music's Bob Boilen, plus favorite Tiny Desk alumni: Sylvan Esso, Gaby Moreno and Tarriona "Tank" Ball of Tank and the Bangas.

Entries are accepted Tuesday, February 20, 2018 to Sunday, March 25, 2018 and a winner will be announced Tuesday, April 24, 2018.
