Laura Bond has been a listener and supporter of Boise State Public Radio since moving to Boise in 1989.  She actively listens to both KBSU and KBSX, enjoying the variety of musical programming and consuming national and local news.

Laura has been employed at Boise State University for over 20 years, most recently in the Biomolecular Research Center.  As an assistant research professor, Laura supports the endeavors of Boise State faculty members and affiliates with their research in the areas of statistics and bioinformatics.

As a longtime Treasure Valley resident, Laura has raised a family here, and participates widely in activities that make living here great – cycling, skiing, and running and hiking in the foothills.  She is active on two other local non-profit boards and in addition has supported preservation of open space for conservation and recreation.
