Idaho's most consequential primary in years came to a close early Wednesday morning with establishment Republicans and a grassroots Democrat taking their respective top spots.
Lieutenant Governor Brad Little won Tuesday in the GOP primary to replace Governor Butch Otter.
The 64-year-old rancher is an Idaho native and has been in elected office for 16 years. He'll face former state Rep. Paulette Jordan, who secured the Democratic Party nomination, in November.
