Helping Idaho Women Find Their Political Voice

Boise State Public Radio

This week, 23 women from six Idaho universities and colleges are gathered on Boise State’s campus for an intense workshop on civic engagement.

The conference is put on by the Center for American Women and Politics at Rutgers University. Debbie Walsh is the Director of the Center and is at Boise State to help teach the Idaho students how to find their political voice.

She tells Samantha Wright the center has been helping women become leaders longer than you might think.

Women in two and four year Idaho colleges and universities can apply to take part of the NEW Leadership Idaho program.
