Watch Paul Simon's Ageless And Animated Performance Of 'Wristband'

Paul Simon is ageless and animated in his first-ever performance at . His hour-long, career-spanning set includes this playfully infectious version of the song "Wristband," from Simon's most recent album, Stranger To Stranger. It's vintage storytelling from Simon as he describes a musician who's inadvertently locked out of the club where he's supposed to be performing. It's a maddening comedy of errors that ultimately speaks to much larger issues like abuse of power, race relations and the privileged class.

Simon's performance was originally recorded May 12 at the Moody Theater in Austin, a few weeks before Stranger To Stranger was released. Simon's full ACL set can be seen on PBS on Oct. 1 at 9 p.m. ET.
