Inside the race to save Maine's old growth forests

Maine is the most heavily forested state in the country. And so-called old growth forests there are home to some of the rarest wooded landscapes that provide habitat for unique species and trap greenhouse gas. But centuries of logging and farming have dwindled the swath of old growth forests.

Maine Public’s Peter McGuire reports on the efforts to save them.
