Nepal flood waters have receded, but threats to physical and mental health are growing

Seven hospitals/health centers have been damaged in the floods, some completely wiped out. Medical workers are concerned about interrupted routine care, risk of waterborne and communicable disease outbreaks in "holding centers" and the mental health impacts of the disaster.
