Join us for the February blues jam hosted by the Idaho Blues Society at Watson's Mystery Cafe. Doors open at 12 noon for jammers to sign up to play.

The host band for the February jam will be Carmel n the Closers, who will kick things off at 1 p.m. with a half-hour of blues music, followed by jam bands on stage 1:30 - 4:30 p.m., and closing with another short set by Carmel n the Closers, 4:30 - 5 p.m.

Jammers, bring your talents, instruments, cables, and pedal boards. Sign up upon arrival. Note: Backline is provided, including sound equipment and sound tech, amps, drum kit, keys, and microphones. Please do not bring your own amp.

The Idaho Blues Society is an all-volunteer non-profit organization devoted to keeping the blues alive in Idaho. Here’s where your $5 donation goes:

pay the host jam band each month
produce live music shows at various venues throughout the year
conduct programs to encourage young people to learn and play the blues. (Learn more about our youth programs on our website here: Blues in the Schools, Youth Music Scholarships, and Instrument Repair and Donations to Schools and Students.)
Idaho Blues Society blues jams are held the last Sunday of each month (except December).
