Desde el comienzo de la pandemia de COVID-19, se ha pedido a los educadores comunitarios de la salud que den un paso más allá de brindar mensajes educativos a personas de diversas culturas, idiomas y orígenes, en vincular a los pacientes de COVID-19 y sus familias con los recursos esenciales, y asegurar que las personas en sus comunidades entiendan y tengan acceso a la atención de la salud.

Nuestro panelista Alexander Dominguez, Educador de salud del Central Dictrict Health en Idaho y enlace para las comunidades Latinx y rurales (FCS). Con el aprenderás cómo participar en el autocuidado y por qué los educadores de salud comunitarios son tan importantes.

Since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic, Community Health Educators have been called upon to step-up to provide education for people of diverse cultures, languages and backgrounds, linking COVID-19 patients and their families to essential resources, and assuring people in their communities understand and have access to health care.

In this webinar, hosted by Alexander Dominguez, Health Educator, Latin X And Rual Liason Family & Clinic Services (FCS) from Central District Health you will learn about how to engage in your self-care and why community health educators are important.
