The Treasure Valley Jazz All Stars seek to promote America's original artform during jazz appreciation month. Lead by Boise State University's Director of Jazz Studies, Derek Ganong, the concert will feature jazz from the American songbook through hard-bop and more contemporary jazz styles. This includes some latin and bossa-nova. The group is a collaborative project wanting to span the full breath of the jazz tradition.  The group consists of Derek Ganong (trumpet), Alex Sjobeck (piano), Kye Bass (Bass), and Mitchell Beck (Drums).  This show is FREE and open to the public.
